Search engines currently supported are: altavista.com anzwers.com.au euroferret.com excite.com google.com infoseek.com nlsearch.com planetsearch.com webwombat.com.au whatuseek.com hotbot.com uk.altavista.com altavista.de lycos.com canada.com google.de webcrawler.com go.com alltheweb.com northernlight.com webtop.com fireball.de

Enter your domain as either yourdomain.co.uk or www.yourdomain.co.uk, for example. You should submit your name to the search engines every month or two. If you submit any more frequently, it can work against you.

You also need to make sure that you have META Keywords and Descriptions embedded in your pages. If you are a forwarding customer, you can add META keywords via the user portal.

Please note that your email address will be passed on to the search engines. This means that you may get sent acknowledgements by them. You must enter a valid address for your site to be listed. Enter your domain without "http://" eg: "www.cheese.com"

Once you have pressed submit, please wait for the summary page to load, confirming submission. Depending on how busy the search engines are, this can take between 10 seconds and several minutes. Do not hit "stop" or "cancel" as this will mess up your submission... :(

Occasionally, there may be some errors reported on the confirmation page - this occurs when a search engine does not respond to the registration request.
