For support POP3 configuration, dialup requests etc, please email  :Support@a-q.co.uk. We will not return calls requesting POP3 setup support as this can only be conducted efficiently by email. Sadly, due to abuse of our support lines, we no longer offer 0800 telephone based support. Support is now charged at £1 per minute on the 0906 number below (support by email is free!!). Please get the permission of the bill payer before calling. Support may involve a long call. If the lines are busy, one of our operators will take your details and your call will be returned. Please leave an email address in addition to a contact telephone number.

The reasons for the charge are threefold: (1) To prevent customers of other ISP's from using our support line because they can't get through to their own ISP's (it's true!!). (2) to cover the costs of forwarding your out-of-office-hours call to our engineers mobile telephones as required. (3) to cover the cost of returning your call to your mobile phone. By making this small charge for support, it also means that we don't have to pass this cost on in the price of our services and domain name charges.

There aren't many ISP's that you can contact either during or out of office hours. (aq) is the exception.
If you suspect that your site is not functioning, you can alert our sysadmins 24 hours a day on 24hrs@a-q.co.uk- leave a short email of no more than 20 words describing the problem. Our (Your) reputation is important to us.  In addition, our sysadmins receive a text message automatically if there is a problem with a server. We're not aware of any other ISP who provides this level of cover and reassurance for single-site customers!
