the countries' largest canoe clubs (Leeds University Union Canoe
Club - luucc.co.uk) is the
start of our new drive for regional business. The webcam at www.leeds.gov.uk
is another example. Hopefully soon, we'll be installing a wireless
camera, looking down over the whole of leeds city centre! Watch

date will be 17/9/01. (aq) limited are now offering a pre-registration
service via neulevel.com, the .biz registry. This has been set up
due to demand for pre-registrations in order to help registrants
secure their desired name

The new (aq) site
has started to emerge. At the moment the changes are largely cosmetic.
We will let you know when we start to add the extra functionality
to allow sms messaging and account merging.

Following our
datacentre move from the Globix internet exchange to the neutral
facility at Harbour Exchange we can now offer greater flexibility
on our colocation products. Clients requiring dedicated dial-in
or dedicated leased lines can now be accomodated. Our colocation
services range from a "reboot only" to a fully managed solution
including bespoke firewalling, clustering and load balancing.

by open bid.

Nominet Board
Appointment
(aq) board member
Dr Adam Beaumont has been elected by member vote to the policy advisory
board "PAB" of Nominet UK. The election was a recognition that there
was a need for more representation from small to medium sized businesses.
Fellow (aq)
board member, David Matthews, stated "It is important for all hosting
and domain registration companies to accept their position of responsibility.
A domain name is a vital piece of intellectual property and an asset
to any business. Businesses need the reassurance that the administration
of these assets is conducted in the best possible manner. By having
a voice on the PAB this can only augment that confidence, and hopefully,
